Recently I was lucky enough to get a studio-share in Hunters Point Shipyard. This enables me to participate in their open studio events. My first one will be this coming May 4 - 5 from 11 AM to 6 PM. I would love to see you there. I am in building 101, studio 1201. Enter the building at the main entrance (flag pole entrance). Go left then take the first right and my studio is on the left end.
There are 240 artists in 3 buildings, many of whom will have their studios open.
This is the official website: http://www.shipyardartists.com/openstudio/openstudio.html
This is a copy of our notification post card which has directions. It will point you to 2 groups of studios, I'm at Hunters Point and I believe it is mostly sculptors at the Islais Creek studios.
If you can't read these directions, basically you go down 3rd st, turn on Evans towards the bay or East ish, take Evans until it turns into Innes and you cant go further then go left on Donahue and that will bring you right into the shipyard. Easy peazy.
I have been working on some apple and pear gourds that will be available at the show. They are $1,000,000 each so I expect y'all will want at least two.
I hope you can make it.
You can now purchase prints of my work at Chesney-Rheaume.ArtistWebsites.com. Click on the 'galleries' tab to select a genre of work or click on the 'images' tab to see everything. One of these days Ii'll have all of my work on the site but for now there are 30 or so paintings. On this site you can get various size prints on paper, canvas, acrylic panels, metal panels, frames, and greeting cards. I have a gallery on the site of all of my original paintings that are available at any time. You can't purchase originals directly on the website but you can always purchase them from me.
